John Deere 2623 5-Section Disk – FS25 Conversion
I converted this mod to Farming Simulator 25 after receiving a request for it. This machine has passed through several generations of Farming Simulator, and the original model shows its age in a few areas.
I did not have the time to take the entire model into Blender and give it the complete mesh, UV, animation, and material rebuild it really needs. This release should be considered a functional FS25 conversion rather than a complete remaster. I wanted to make it usable and share it with the community instead of leaving the project unfinished.
Two separate versions are included:
Disc Harrow Version – Works as a true shallow cultivator and appears under Disc Harrows.
Plow Version – Produces a plowed field state and appears under Plows.
Both versions may be installed together.

FS25 Conversion Work
The following conversion work and fixes were completed:
Updated the modDesc and vehicle XML files for FS25.
Created separate Disc Harrow and Plow versions.
Added the proper FS25 vehicle types, functions, and store categories.
Configured 15-meter work areas for both versions.
Updated ground-reference nodes and lowering requirements.
Configured the implements for AI workers and GPS steering.
Corrected the initial folded position and transport spacing.
Updated wheel, suspension, and ground-contact settings.
Added FS25 base-game Trelleborg and BKT wheel assets.
Improved shop-floor and field behavior.
Updated shaders and surface materials for FS25.
Added John Deere green frame materials, steel disk materials, dirt, wear, and wet effects.
Used the base-game John Deere 980 Cultivator as a reference for the FS25 material setup.
Updated store images, mod icons, brand graphics, and license-plate support.
Updated particle effects and working sounds.
Corrected several missing or outdated texture and shared-asset paths.
Cleaned up multiple XML and compatibility issues from the older conversion.
Known Limitations
This is an older model and has not received a complete Blender rebuild.
The disk gangs currently remain visually static while working.
Some older reflector, wheel, and model details may not match modern FS25 standards.
Minor visual clipping or alignment issues may appear in certain folded positions.
The center section may have a small amount of movement while stopped on uneven ground.
These limitations are visual and do not prevent the implement from performing its intended fieldwork.
